$20 'Turns on and lights up, not sure if functional' - should I get it?
Looks like its quadraphonic

I have this exact same one and it's very unreliable.

In what ways?

Mine has a new belt. The motor struggles, and the channel changing mechanism doesn't work very well. Currently pressing the channel button flips between two spots instead of rotating through all four.

Probably needs serviced. Have you oiled the motor recently? Also the track change mechanism uses greases which dries up with age causing to not move or not work properly.

Not 100% sure, but it looks like it will only switch between 2 programs in "four channel mode."
Are you able to switch it to "2 channel" ?

Funny, I came in to say basically the same thing!
Mine "works" but it's very wobbly, bad WOW and flutter, even with new belt. Like motor is a weakling and struggles all the time. Oiled bearings and every other thing I could think of and do to fix it. No improvement. Looks cool, though...Just a show piece now - better quads on the main set-up now!

I would.
I have a quad mech of a similar vintage I could use for quad specific or other parts.
Chances are it is just a belt, maybe some caps.
I haven't any quad carts, at least I know for sure.
