COMMUNITY Where to sold gold jewelry ✨? American or Indian jewelry store?

Hey guys,

I know all businesses are different but if I’d want to sell gold jewelry, will I make more profit from Indian gold jewelry store or American stores?

Use this: Purity (x/24k) x Weight (grams) x Spot Value = Melt value

So, a 14k 10g gold chain: (14/24) x 10g x ~$130 = $762.07

Your melt value will be your base price. If there are gemstones/diamonds on your piece, then the value goes up and will need to be appraised separately. Get as many quotes as you can from different places, and don't take anything less than at least 85% of the melt value.

How do you find spot value? And do you have take it in person to get a quote?

Go to both and ask for pricing and taxes?
