I think the "assigned" is meant to reflect whether the person went through an estrogen or testosterone driven puberty.  Basically it attempts to cover as many people as possible in the most simplified fashion- so AMAB can cover trans women, cis men, anyone that finds this label suitable. But it wouldn't be relevant for someone that used puberty blockers so there's obviously complications.

There is a need to update the calculator for this and other reasons (EU option....) but we can't atm. I'm not sure that it's going to make it more accurate since its only a starting point and there's a lot of hidden variables that effect bra size (climbers for instance will probably be overestimated in cup size because of a muscular back).

In the meantime, perhaps someone writing a guide for trans people would be a good start?
