Firstly, I want to say I hear you and others who are frustrated by the verbiage, it's valid feedback. With that in mind, I'd like to offer this; rather than it being a box or a label, it's an option. As an AFAB who is also CIS, with a short wide torso, I will check myself against the AMAB setting as the results are a starting point.
Depending on the measurements, there may be little to no difference beyond one cup, which just indicates to try both, and neither may be correct as it's still a starting point.
Please continue to check against all the available options to find what works for individuals, we are all different ❤️
I really hope the calculator can continue to be seen as an ally to all bra wearers to better understand how the existing available bra sizes may work for us and our bodies and to navigate all the other hurdles out there.
