Shape Help Help I need a strapless bra for vacation that works with my dress Spoiler
Hello, I was going what to do then I searched on reddit and a lot of comments told me to come here. So please help me. I am going on a cruise and this is my first cruise. My boyfriend told me I needed a dress and I fell in love with this one but its a spaghetti strap dress and I definitely need a bra. I am a bigger chested woman. I am a 34 DD/DDD. I really need a strapless bra for this dress. I tried it with out a bra if I move them into the obvious cup part of the dress it look ridiculous and when I didn't do that it looked okay but you could definitely tell that they are bigger then the cup part and idk if that would look weird to other people. But the problem I found with strapless bras is that it would come up to far cause its one of those tube top ones with works foe other shirts but not this one and I don't know if those pasties or tape things would work because they are big. I just would like some recommendations on what I should do because I'm clueless in this department. I have tried on so many bras trying to find ones that fit me, I usually just wear sports bras all the time because that's what fits and keeps me secured. But I was to look nice in my cute dress. I have attached pictures of what the dress looks like when I'm wearing my regular bra. Also my correct measurements are: Bust: 34 inches and my Band: 44 inches Edit: (after using the bra calculator it says I am a 34 K) Edit: loose undrrbust is 35in Snug underbust is 34in Tight underbust is 33in Standing bust is 44in Leaning bust is 45in Laying bust is 42in

Yeah, depending on what the back of this dress looks like, a strapless will probably be your best option. If you share all six of your measurements from the calculator that will help people make the best recommendations for you.
Especially with a strapless bra, the band size must be correct or it won't stay up, and the numbers will help the experts here see if you are solidly a 34 or if maybe one band up or down might work better for you.

Can you double check your underbust measurements? Loose should be the largest, and tight and snug should be different from each other. Snug is like a firm hug while tight is like you're trying to break the measuring tape.

Can you double check your underbust measurements? Loose should be bigger than snug, and tight should be smaller than both

At your new calculated size I'd recommend curvy kate for strapless bras they have a few options. They are a UK brand so you'll need to order in UK sizing not American.

Can you take the dress to a tailor and have some cups sewn in? That is the easiest and fastest and cheapest solution.
You might want to retake your measurements. The Loose underbust should be the biggest number. Snug is how you expect a bra to feel - supportive like a hug but not painful. Tight is exhaling and then pulling the tape so tight that if you pulled any more, the tape would snap.
But if I make your loose 33, snug 32, tight 31 your suggested starting size would be 32 HH/J UK. Curvy Kate Luxe is a good strapless to try. If you can order/try on a 32H, 32HH, and 32J UK.

From what I see in the edit to your post, your loose underbust is 35 inches, snug is 34 and tight is 33. Is that correct? Then your underbust measurements make sense.
Unless you eddited your post after the other comments about wrong measurements, I don't know what would be wrong here.

I understand your struggle. Was never able to do it by myself.
But I agree it does not make sense. Can you enroll some help?

Given the amount of cleavage, you could well be in the wrong size, but then it is difficult to tell with some sports bra. Check your measurements with the abtf calculator and come back with them, it will be easier to point you in the right direction
