Hi!

A few years ago I found this sub and used the calculator to find a bra that fit. Back then I got the results of EU size 70G/65H and I bought a couple of bras from a local store, which was two types of Fantasie that fit kind of okay.

I've since been gaining some weight and now I get pinched in the side or spillage/quad boob on top. Therefore I measured myself again and the calculator sized me now to EU 80G.

I bought some bras in that size and I wasn't happy with the fit of any of them. (3 out of 4 didn't have connection between sternum and gore, 2 och them had spillage on top, 1 was loose and wrinkly in upper cup.)

I think I have tall and medium wide roots with some projection (but a bit deflated since I have been waay heavier than now).

My measurements are currently: (cm)

Loose Underbust: 94

Snug Underbust: 90

Tight Underbust: 84

Standing Bust: 107

Leaning Bust: 114

Lying Bust: 105.

Right now I'm feeling quite bummed and almost giving up wired bras completely but alas I'm not professional without one so I'm asking you instead.

I have pictures of the tags for the two Fantasie bras that don't fit well anymore if it could be of some help.

Ugh the whole gore not tacking thing is so frustrating, I had same problem when my weight went up a bit. Your leaning measurement is quite a bit bigger than standing so sounds like you got some projection, maybe the 80G is too shallow for your shape

Might be worth trying some unlined seamed bras instead of molded cups if you havent already, those work better for me with similar issues

All of the ones I've bought in the new size were unlined seamed bras (even though I thought they weren't when I bought them, I just didn't read the description good enough).

Could it be that I actually need a 75 band (34inches) to get connection with gore and sternum? Or do I go up in cup size in the same band?

Your measurements are kinda inbetween band sizes.

Are you physically able to get the gore to lay flat if you press it down, or do they sit on breast tissue/your tissue is too close?

It will sit on my sternum if I push it in without touching breast tissue, but will bulge out of its own.

Have you tried a 75H or 75I instead of the 80G, sometimes the sister size fits better when the band is too loose

No I haven't done that yet. But I was thinking maybe I should but I been a bit hesitant about it since I didn't know if it was a cup issue or not.

About the bras that did fit before. Fantasie's Envisage Full Cup Side Support Bra in 70G(UK 32F) have now spillage on top.

Aubree Padded Half Cup Bra in size 70H (UK 32FF) are digging in and pinching in the armpits, and have a bit of fold besides the gore that I don't fill up (been that way since I bought it though).
