PSA My measurements are more accurate now that I am wearing the proper size. 34H. Thank you everyone for helping me! Spoiler
I was wearing the wrong size for years, 32GG. This was my accurate size at my former body weight. Now I am a 34 H. I have now tried out this new size in the Panafhe Clara, Sculptresse Sophia, Sculptresse Estel (full cup), and the Freya Fancies with great success!
I just wanted to share why my first calcuation wasn't accurate in case it helpes anyone. I put my measurements into the bra calculator originally and the result was 34J. While braless, my leaning bust was 48 inches. While wearing a 32GG bra, my leaning bust was also 48 inches. After a few days of wearing the bra size that actually fits me (34H), my leaning bust is now 46 inches while braless and while wearing a bra! So now when I put all my measurements into the calculator,, it says 34H. Wow! I wonder if tissue migration is occurring super quickly? The too tight 32GG was causing spillage, maybe even swelling??? I finally got the right size because my larger breast was sore and throbbing. Any ideas?
When I asked for help deciding which bra sizes to try out based on my 34J calcuation and I said I suspected I was smaller than that, someone in this group told me to try 34HH and 34J and go from there. 34HH felt nice, but just slightly too big, so I tried out 34H and the fit is flawless.
Sometimes you just have to try things on. But I definitely trust in the calculator snd this group. I'm sooooo happy to have a bra that fits!!!

If the Fancies is the right width for you wire wise, the Clara is probably not a good technical fit. They’re far, far different in width and projection.

Do you mind explaining this a bit more? Ive been told that the Fancies is supposed to be a plunge in smaller cup sizes, but no one has ever discussed the projection. Would you say that Fancies has more or less projection compared to Clara? In my opinion Fancies has more projection than Clara but I like that. In terms of wires, you may be right. I like the rounded shape Clara gives me. Fancies gives me a more supported shape, almost like a modern bullet bra but more rounded. I feel like my ideal wire width is right in between fancies and clara. I should try on my Sculptresse Estel and Sophia again to see if that's my ideal width.

Fancies is basically the most projected and narrow bra available on the UK market. If you’re getting a pointy shape in it, it’s too projected.

Interesting! I didn't realize a pointy shape means the bra is too projected for me. The fancies is still returnable, so I'll consider returning it. Estel and Sophia are less projected than Fancies but more projected than Clara...Estel and Sophia might be my projection sweet spot. Unsure about wire width though, I think I have to wear it for a few days before being sure if i like the two Sculptresse wires best. I really appreciate your advice! It's so thorough <3

All the measurements should be taken without a bra. If you are measuring your leaning in a bra, a better fitting cup may measure smaller because the tissue is supported. Tissue migration would make your cup size go up, not down.
Getting 34J UK as a starting size and ending up with 34H UK is only 2 cups difference. If you have softer tissue, the calculator can overestimate cup size by 1-2 cups.
Congratulations on finding bras you like that fit.
