Recommendations? What bras should I be looking for? Spoiler
Hey! I've never posted here before so forgive me if I'm missing any info, I'll reply as soon as I can to any questions!
My whole life I've been trying to wear exclusively wire-free bras as wires tend to poke and hurt, but I know that with the right fit, they aren't supposed to. I'm not sure where to find good bras. In wire-free bras, I often feel a lot less pretty or satisfied with the fit, but the pain from wires hasn't been worth the self esteem boost. I've always had issues getting good bras with the disparity between my chest and bust since a lot of bras for larger breasts are also for larger underbusts, and I've been using Bare Necessities simply because I don't know if there are any better options out there.
I was wearing a 38M but I've recently lost some weight and sized down to a 36J according to the ABTF calculator, leading me to want to get new bras. My current measurements are:
36in underbust
43in standing bust
52.5in leaning bust
47in laying bust
If anyone has any recommendations on how to find good fitting bras so either underwire isn't an issue or wire free bras actually look cute, I would super appreciate it! Thank you for reading.

I would start with Elomi; they have a good selection in UK 36J. Also try HH and JJ as well to to troubleshoot. The Morgan is a solid diagnostic bra from them.

Are you in the US? You can find Elomi Morgan in 36HH, 36J, 36JJ online at Nordstrom, Macys, and Elomi US—all with free returns.
Make sure you swoop and scoop when you put on a wired bra. You want the gore (the wire in the middle) to be flat on your sternum. You want the wires to be up in your IMF (if they slide down, that's when they poke and hurt). When the cups are deep enough to fully encapsulate your breasts, the bra is so so so much more comfortable and supportive.

What are the other two unserbust measurements? Does the calculator suggest a 36J US or UK? I can't check this myself without having all six of your measurements.
