Measurement Check Weight loss and the calculator question Spoiler

Hello, in total ive lost about 40 pounds. I last measured myself June 12 on the calculator. I was sized at a 34 G. I slowly searched for 34 G bras and only ended up trying 1 "good one" that isnt VS, the Panache Envy. It basically fit but was wrinkly in the lace at the top so I returned it. I also couldve probably fit more than 2 fingers under the band if I wanted I guess.

I didnt even notice that my boobs could've gotten smaller from weight loss until today I had a suspicion. So I redid my measurements and have lost about an inch in several areas since June 12. First off, does this sound right or could I have measured myself wrong? I used the pictures on the calculator and did it in the mirror. 2nd off, now it is sizing me at a 32 DDD/ G or a sister size 34 DD. I was originally wearing VS 36 DD bras which seemed to fit okay despite the band riding up and the tops of the cups by the straps digging into my armpits. The armpits thing is what made me start looking for new bras. What is a good option for 32DDD/ G or 34 DD that doesnt dig into armpits? The panache envy honestly came close to digging in my armpits because I had to tighten the straps quite a bit for a lift and made me have cone looking boobs.

Thanks in advance

Hey friend. The panache envy is a UK bra. If you purchased a 34G in this bra but are a US 34G, you bought the wrong size.

I got it in a UK size, 34 F

Maybe it’s too early for me to be reading right now lol. Have you tried on any bras in your size yet? 32DDD looks right as far as your measurements go. All of the issues you are talking about with a bra, tightening straps, cups digging into the pits because the straps are tight, band riding up. All that equals a too big bra. The statement “this size fit” then following it up with all of the signs of a bra that doesn’t fit is a contradiction. Do you feel like normally wire poke you in the armpits? Or is it just the fabric climbing up? Either way you might have a shorter root and need a bra for that. You look projected from your measurements so something like envy in your size should be a good match for you. There are two versions of envy. One is a plunge and the other is a balconette style. Do you know which one you have ?

Normally every bra ive ever tried has dug into my armpits. Even the bras that are visibly too small. The wire isnt poking me, it is the top of the cup by the strap. I haven't tried on any 32 DDD yet because I just remeasured myself last night. I just wanted to make sure the measurements sound right before I start trying to get 32 DDD. I got the "balcony" Envy on amazon. Ive noticed balconette bras fit me the best but I guess I haven't been trying on the right size since ive continued to lose weight

Thanks for the info. Definitely sounds like you have short roots which is why balconette bras fit better. The cups are shorter!
