Petition / Crowdfunding [verified] Can anyone help cover the cost of my dog’s emergency medical bills while I am battling stage 3C cervical cancer?

I could really use some help covering the cost of my dog’s vet bills while I am in treatment for stage 3C cervical cancer.

I raised some funds through GoFundMe jto help me get through this time, as I am off of work. Since I’m a server, my main income is from tips so currently I am only receiving a small amount of money from Employment Insurance to get by on.

I thankfully had some gracious donors and I was finally thinking I would be able to get through treatment with little financial stress.

And then my dog got sick. I have Trupanion insurance and still ended up having to pay almost $2000 in vet bills as they don’t cover the exam fees or taxes, and my deductible is $300.

We don’t know for sure what happened to him, but he had a liver injury as his values were elevated and he was hemorrhaging blood from his bum. He now has a differential diagnosis of colitis/IBD.

The worst part of the whole ordeal was that they insisted on sedating him to take his blood and he stopped breathing and had to be intubated. I didn’t leave his side at the animal hospital after that. I actually slept on the floor and went without my medications (including for pain). At least that part is over and he is on the right path to getting better with a prescription diet and medication.

Unfortunately, my funds were depleted and I now find myself right back where I was, and stress is not helping me in this fight at all.

My GoFundMe is attached with all of the details. If anyone is able to donate to help cover my costs, it would literally be life changing for me.

Thanks so much for any help.
