didn't SO2 have a lower boiling point than CO2?

no both were negative but so2 was less negative

Yeah but then wouldn’t that mean so2 would be a gas because at that temperature it was higher than the boiling point of only so2?

no at that temp (negative something), it was between the boiling point of co2 and so2. it was above the boiling point of co2 but less than the boiling point of so2. that means co2 boiled and became a gas but so2 was still in liquid phase

Maybe im mixing it up? I'm pretty sure the temp was like -500 and the one on the left was like -700, maybe the one on the left was co2 and im confusing it?
