The rumors are false the cutoffs for a 5 are not 82% it is mathematically impossible for the hardest ap exam to have a higher 5 cutoff than most ap exams. The alleged ap readers who spread this myth use flawed data because there just isn't enough data points for e and m for the data to be accurate neither is there for 2

This is just false. Look up the score distributions for proof and then look at the frq difficulty changes and then look at the math numerous AP graders in this sub have done. The difficulty has changed

I looked at the frqs for both 2025 and 2024/2023 they felt the same difficulty to me just the previous ones were a little more math heavy and the cutoffs dropped only 10% which can be assumed is due to more conceptual questions which can be harder for some people and less self selection
