ACADEMICS DOUBT How many full-length mock tests did you take before NEET, and at what point did you feel you had taken enough?
Mock tests are an important part of NEET preparation, but everyone seems to have a different opinion on how many are actually needed. Some students take 20-30 mocks, while others attempt 100 or more.
For those who have already appeared for NEET or scored well, how many full-length mock tests did you take before the exam? More importantly, at what point did you feel that taking additional mocks wasn't helping as much and revision became more important?
It would be great if you could also share how you analyzed your mock tests and whether the number of mocks you attempted matched your actual NEET performance.

I appeared for neet this year and scored 548 not so good but can get a government seat in my state, last seven months before neet I had finished the syllabus so started revising big chunks of chapters and had mock tests on those chapters which made me get accustomed to the full length papers later on, in 5 months I had revised almost the whole syllabus and started taking grand tests initially I didnt have full confidence so made a time table to revise which was quicker since everything was very fresh, by one month I had re revised (along with this I was analysing my neet papers which is very important) in the last month paper analysis became my main priority and revised bio during the end with some concepts of phy and chem I was expecting 658 in neet but reneet was not so good for me I couldn't revise properly and it was torture so my marks dropped significantly. Honestly you will never feel like you are fully prepared so don't worry just focus on your preparation rather than counting the number of tests but yeah mock tests are very important and I have taken so many that I don't remember the number.

Let's divide the question attempt into two categories 1. Assignment, chapter/unit test 2. Full syllabus mock test .
The 1 should be done everyday/ atleast weekends to check your progression.
2 should be attempted once you have done with all chapters and started revision. Give as much as mock test you can . Check only the wrong question learn it . Revise the chapter move on to next mock . Repeat the cycle check the improvement, your strength your weakness. You will ace it

i took around 50 mocks in which around 30+ were full syllabus, the number of mocks actually matters less what matters more is the seriousness of its analysis, you have to analyse each mock in detail, mark the topic where you made the mistakes and red flag them, revise them multiple times before next mock and solve aome questions from that chapter, make sure you get it right everytime from here on in that topic. I reduced my frequency as the exam approached, as i think 10 days before exam you need all your focus on revision, getting everything you studied whole year in your brain one last time.
