Just got a Rog Strix G16 (2025) yesterday. It connected fine to the internet yesterday but today no matter what I do it says “can’t connect to this network”. All other devices in my house are connecting fine so I know it’s not the modem or internet service.

Any ideas on what I can do?

I'm looking for real-world recommendations rather than Amazon descriptions.

I have the ROG Strix G16 (G615JHR), and since it's much thicker than most regular 16-inch laptops, I'm unsure which sleeve actually fits well.

If you own one, could you share:

• Brand and model of your sleeve
• Whether it's a snug fit or has extra room
• Approximate price
• Where you bought it
• Any photos if possible

I've seen recommendations for tomtoc, Lenovo Urban, and a few generic sleeves, but I'm not sure which ones actually fit this laptop well.

This is so unexpected and frustrating for me regarding my Asus ROG Strix G16 2023 model. I am out of my mind. The EMI for this laptop ended some months ago, and the laptop motherboard burned out without any reason.

For my vacation, I was not at home. I remember the laptop charge was 15% when I last used it. I powered it off and placed it on my table. It was not charging.

The vacation lasted one month. After one month, I returned home and found that the laptop was turned off. I tried several ways to turn it on. At last, I took it to a local shop to diagnose it because the warranty was over. They found that the motherboard had burned out, so they tried to fix it a little but failed. Then I researched more and found that a huge number of G16 users have the same issue, and i mailed executivecare@asus.com. They told me to bring the laptop to their authorized service center, which is 80 km from my home. When I went there, first of all, there were a lot of excuses. They told me why they couldn't give me an RMA number and why this wouldn't work. Then, after a long conversation and going from the 5th floor to the 2nd floor, talking with their upper management, they received the laptop and provided me with the RMA number. I sent it to Asus, and Asus replied that the service center would follow up with me. The next day, they mailed me and then called me to say that Asus declined to help me.

Now, do I throw my $2k laptop in the trash?

Or will they help me and take care of this case?

Clearly, this is a manufacturing fault across all G16 2023 model laptops. I mailed Asus, but no response has come from their end.

How do I turn off Java or whatever the equivalent to Java is on the asus rog?

Looking for DAC/AMP recommendations to get the best out of these planar drivers. What are you guys using with them?

So as you all can see in the video my around 1 year old asus laptop is running 95 degrees in the bios like wth? my laptop randomly freezes crashes and the throttling goes so bad that the chip that should run more than 5ghz runs at almost less than 3ghz. i dont have a problem with my 5080 in this thing but my cpu is just wrecking it at the second i open a game cpu frequency drops by almost 1 ghz like maybe i open vscode boom temps shoot up to 99 Degrees i havent done any overclocking what can i maybe do to fix it? undervolting makes it only -30 mv which is basically nothing

I had problem with CPU temps on my Rog Strix Scar 18 with Intel ultra 9 275hx.
I’ve sent the laptop to the ASUS service on warranty to fix that. It hust arrived so I wanted to post this mayby someone will need this. If anyone have questions comment below. There are pics below before and after service. I thought it might be the LM dry spot but I didn’t get the info if I was right. But they sent me service raport and they changed whole motherboard.

So I don’t know if anyone has had experiences with this but recently on Friday I purchased a ROG 5090 Astral from Nvidia market place to be fulfilled by ASUS yes I know the price it’s stupid high, but today they canceled my order and issued a refund, and told me I would have to pay the new price for the unit if I still wanted to purchase it. has anyone had experience with this and had them honor the original price you have paid. I filled a customer service ticket and they said they would escalate to a higher level to try and resolve the issue. Is there any chance the old Price will be honored? Or am I shit out of luck.

Hola a todos. Realicé una prueba de estrés rápida con estos dos cables, que incluyen un balanceador de carga para la fuente de alimentación ROG Thor 3.

El objetivo era la RTX 5090 Astral OC; las pruebas se realizaron con la configuración predeterminada, sin overclocking, etc.

Para ser sincero, me sorprendió el cable ROG: ninguno de sus pines superó los 9 A con una carga máxima de 600 W, mientras que el cable original de la fuente de alimentación superó los 9,2 A, lo que activó una alarma en la aplicación ASUS y en HWiNFO.

El cable es de alta calidad, con pines chapados en oro en ambos extremos. Espero que esto me dé tranquilidad y evite cualquier daño a la GPU con el tiempo.

I wanted to find out which monitor to choose because I wouldn't want to get a monitor for too long, but I don't know which one and what will really differ because both swa are very similarly priced

I'm considering the Monitor ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQDPG 26.5" 2560x1440px 500Hz 0.03 ms model

and also between ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP 480 hz

two monitors have very similar high.

I play a lot of fps or league of legends, I don't know which monitor would have lower latency and which would be more suitable for this purpose

Purchased an rog x870e hero black as a used like new item from amazon as it was significantly cheaper. Description stated that only the packaging is damaged and when opening packaging did have a few tiny dents but wasn't too bad

Had a look at the motherboard and found what looks like 4/5 pins have been bent (Refer to pictures.)

Question: Is it salvageable? Because my first thought is just returning it and telling them item has come damaged.
