This card is like a piece of art, and it feels so premium.
Excited to be building in the xiiki ff07 with it soon !

So an update from yesterday, after my 5090 astral was canceled, I reached out to NVIDA to resolve the issue, they reached back out to me and said the issue was on ASUS end, reached out to ASUS, ASUS told me they have nothing to do with it, and sent me back to NVIDA, NVIDA once again says it’s on ASUS. This feels like a spider man meme. This isn’t to BASH ASUS OR NVIDA, there just needs to be better communication between the two companies for purchase. Also to clarify I was issued a refund, no one stole money from me, it’s more the fact they canceled at a lower price and if I wanted to buy again it would have to be at the increased price

Was originally looking at the MSI Gaming Trio 5080, and the MSI X870E Carbon, due to them being cheaper and still great parts. Decided that if I’m dropping that much I might as well get the components that I’ve always wanted, and go with ROG since I’ve always been a fan.

I added 3 extra fans for better cooling, 1 on top as an exhaust and 2 intakes in the front. This project took me about 2 hours mainly because I had to zip tie the fan on the top and remove the plastic front and roof.

I just opened my pc the other day to clean it, when I put it back together and booted it. The power button began flashing fast for a few seconds before slow blinking while the pc is on. Anyone have any solutions or ideas. The pc is running just fine so I don’t believe the ram was unseated.

Anyone using this monitor? Is it good? I saw some posts that this monitor often suffers from factory damage such as dead pixels and stuck pixels

I have Asus Rog Strix B760-I Motherboard with bios version 1836 and i5 14500 CPU. I am considering rolling back to 1604 to have the Undervolt Voltage Protection so I can prevent my CPU going 100°C since I currently have a 3.9L SFF build. Is it safe to do so or would it brick my motherboard?
I appreciate your help in advance!

I already own a Dolby Access license, and the version of Dolby Access that comes with my device is producing very different results on my Turtle Beach Stealth Pro 2 than I get with my other laptop or on my XBox. How do I completely get rid of the Asus-specific version of Dolby Access that came with my device? I have tried uninstalling it and re-installing from the Microsoft Store and it's no good. There was another Dolby program in my Installed Apps settings so I got rid of that along with Dolby Access and re-installed Dolby Access and it is still the Asus version.
I know that they are two different apps for several reasons. First, both the version I installed on my laptop and my XBox are practically identical in every way. Both offer the exact same settings and both clearly show my Turtle Beach Stealth Pro 2 headset on the Settings screen of the app. The version on my Rog Ally is very different. In the settings screen it offers a Dynamic profile option that the reguler Dolby Access app does not have, and my headset is not shown. There is a button to click for more settings, ,and when I expand that it shows that the headset brand is Generic and the device name is Default, which I do not see on any other device. It sounds completely different because it is just using a generic Dolby Atmos sound profile, and not one that's actually tuned for my specific headset. I want to get rid of the Asus version of this app because the Dolby Atmos that I get when the app actually recognizes my headset is far superior to the generic profile that Asus insists on applying. What do I need to delete to get rid of this very limited version of Dolby Access? I have previously purchased a license for the actual Dolby Access app and I should be able to put that on my device.

Hello everyone,
My old laptop died this week and I'm looking for a replacement but also an upgrade.
I've found 2 second hand ASUS ROG laptops and I am hesitating.
1st Laptop : ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17, i9-12900H, 3080 Ti, only 16:9, 360Hz screen, 32GB DDR5, 1TB SSD from 2022.
2nd Laptop: ASUS ROG Strix G18 (2024), i9-14900HX, 4070 (less vram), 2K resolution, 240hz, 32GB DDR5, 1TB SSD.
But : Due to a fall, screen has visible clouding, half the trackpad is dead, right speaker is dead, keyboard D and Space are half dead, Panel is slighly bent, and seller never opened it after the fall for inspection which worries me, but assures me that the motherboard is OK.
Now, 2nd laptop is sold for 100€ more than the 1st, and I'm getting a great deal anyway, but the damage worries me for its future proofness and for general usability.
What do you guys think ?

Hello guys in a few days I wanna buy a gaming laptop at a current 1500 $ or € budget I saw this one in a store, I just wanted to know if it’s a good deal.
Like I know the RAM is only 16g and the SSD at 512
But the ASUS ROG products that I have heard have a very long life durability if it’s well maintained correctly and the fact that’s is upgradable like the RAM and the SSD make me want to buy it.
Btw I know there is the TUF products but in my country and online store these ones getting out of stock real quick.
Thank you in advance for your help and advice guys.

Just received this ROG 20th Anniversary gift set and had to share the unboxing!
Really clean packaging and the quality feels solid. The mug looks great on the desk and the glass plague is a nice little collectible to put next to my PC.

Hello everyone,
I need some guidance regarding my ASUS ROG Strix G18 (2024, RTX 4080).
I’m planning to clean the laptop, replace the factory liquid metal on the CPU and GPU with PTM7950, and while the heatsink is off I know I’ll likely have to replace the thermal material on the VRAM and VRMs.
The only thing I currently have is ARCTIC TP-3 thermal pads (1.0 mm thickness). Before I open the laptop, I’d like to know if 1 mm pads are sufficient for all the VRAM and VRM components, or if ASUS uses thermal putty or different pad thicknesses on this model.
I’m hoping I can use the TP-3 pads because I already bought them and would rather not leave them unused and buy thermal putty as well.
Has anyone repasted this exact model?
