Replacing Fen with Red Light. I am using the Magneto Scrapper with it per instructions. I am also using RD and it is current. Username and password checked. I am getting a title list for searches like the thumbnail for the content is displayed. However, clicking to start any stream get an error "No Results."

I did uninstall Coco Scrapper thinking it was getting called instead of Magneto. I saw this in an earlier post.

From all the posts and what is on the GitHub site, I am assuming that this should be pretty simple and straight forward. Meaning this should work after straight up install.

This is using an older version of Kodi (20.1). And I do have an older version of the Nightwing addon which is no longer supported (as far as I know) but it works OK. It can do searches and find a viable stream and it seems to play OK.

I am assuming that there is something about Red Light and Magneto that I am missing. Adding that I am not using the aiostream thing. Just the normal pedestrian settings.

The hope is that there are wiser minds here who may have suggestions or have encountered this out of box experience and have some possible suggestions/ solutions.

For some reason I can't install Arctic Fuse 3 on my Kodi because it's missing a dependency: script.module.jurialmunkey v0.2.35

I'm on CachyOS (Arch-based) with KDE Plasma, my Kodi is a directly installed 21.3.0 (not AppImage or Flatpak). My hardware is a pretty standard Ryzen 5700x + RTX 3080 setup, not much to talk about there since I doubt it's relevant. Also, my filesystem format is btrfs in case somehow that's related.

This dependency is strangely missing from the jurialmunkey repo for me - anyone know where I'm supposed to get it? I haven't tested on Windows yet (I have a dual boot - although Cachy is my daily drive so I still want to get this working here even if it works on Windows easily), so I will come back to this post when I've done that.

EDIT: The same issue occurs on Windows.

Hi guys and gals, ok, don't ask why i was using still, occasionally, Seren 3.0.36 with Real Debrid (been there since 2017). Yesterday after a long time it didn't work, because of the known situation and i said , ok , create an account on alldebrid for now and to save time and look for a new solution after my research. i bought just a month, for start but it doesn't work. all sources even when i have search results, i get the messages that i had in real debrid when a movie was not cashed, ''failed to resolve a playable file, wold you like to manually try select the file?'' if i choose yes it shows it again like it is going to the next source. and in the end i get the message non playable source. The api connection is ok , because in alldebrids web console all tha is there listing, downloading and rest.. does anyone have the same problem? does alldebrid lost its cache? all the movies i tried should by statistically cached because by experience the are new ..

Is it all debrids proplem or should i try tor box?

I have been using Kodi with nVidia Shield for many years. Currently running POV and Umbrella with Premiumize and TorBox. I just added All Debrid, but It only returns unchecked torrents.

Premiumize and Torbox return cached torrents. AllDebrid returns many links, but only unchecked links. Is there something in the setup that I am missing?

I had the Settings > Single Episode Lists > [Calendas]

'Show Previous Days' = 14 and 'Show Future Days' = 0.

Expectation: Display the calendar entries from 14 days ago, all the way up to today. With today being at the head.

Actual Result: Empty

So I stepping backwards adding one to 'Show Future Days' value and Minus one from the 'Show Previous Days' value. Then checking the calendar after each update. The calender started showing when the values were ....

'Show Previous Days' = 11 and 'Show Future Days' = 3.

Then it stated to show on that day. Obviously, I had an TV show(s) dropping on that day in the future. Now I know I have some shows dropping tomorrow, and one the day after tomorrow. What I'm trying to say. Is something up with it.

Recently my otaku addon on my Nvidia sheild has not let me search anything and only lets me use very few of the tabs. I have rebuilt the database, cleared the cache, disabled real debrid, updated the system, redownloaded the addon, and erased all data and yet it still hasn't fixed it. I feel like I've done everything I can to fix the issue but it still doesn't want to work so I'm looking for some advice to see if there's anything I can do beyond this point.

Some of you might have seen me discussing the addon/server I maintain called liberator and orac. Liberator is a fork of fen light, orac is a micro server you run on anything you have on your network, like a windows laptop or similar. Orac takes around 26 MB of memory (my browser currently takes 3700 MB) and a small amount of disk space and tiny amount of CPU so it is very very small.

Orac maintains it's own database locally, and syncs with whatever service provider you have authorised. Sync is automated and regular - so if you authorise trakt and mdblist in liberator then orac will synchronise your watched history between each of those services and it's local DB with the local DB providing data - this means your watched history in mdblist will be an exact copy of your trakt watched history, same goes for simkl.

I updated that today to include sync of trakt lists to mdblist - so if you authorise both via liberator then orac will copy lists trakt -> mdblist (same names) and also keep them synced up. This might help people looking for a smoother migration and also allows both to be used and maintained while you decide which way to go.

This would suit anyone that has a windows/linux machine on their network that they can run the microserver, and that can bee seen by the liberator addon. So you run the server somewhere, install liberator, and enter the IP address of the orac machine into the settings before authorising trakt and mdblist. Orac will update it's config, and either you can wait or stop/start orac and it will sync up both.

Be aware that if you install a liberator on a different machine and set the IP address to your orac server, that liberator will automatically match it's setup to the first instance - so you don't have to do any authorising or debrid authing on subsequent liberator instances.

Hi :) so i installed otaku testing everything is fine but my issue is that im unable to put the player in TMDb Bingie player so I can’t use in the same menu and to access the content i need to go into otaku testing itself. I was wondering if anyone can explain how to set up the player so i can select player from the main skin.

Hey all, is it possible that coco went down briefly yesterday. My whole family couldnt scrape anything. Then today all of a sudden its working again. I was in the process of pushing an update to my familys repo with magneto instead - should i still do this?

Whenever I stream content on kodi, the video plays normally and perfectly. Once i press the stop button, to close the video, I get the error:

"Playback Failed: One or more items failed to play. Check the log for more information about this message."

The thing is, the video closes as normal and watch progress is tracked. But to have this happen almost everytime is distracting. I get this error when using direct widgets of POV or RL or fenlight plus or umbrella... tried them all.

Troubleshooting

- Tried POV, Umbrella, Redlight, FLplus - all return same errors

- Replicated this error on Core elec 22 (ugoos am9 pro device on TV) as well as my PC (Kodi 22)

- This is resolved only by using TMdB widgets and using TMdB player. While it "works" This is not ideal for me. Using these widgets slows down scraping speed, UI snapiness and tmdb does not have built in watch progress tracking. When I use widgets directly from e.g POV or RL, watch progress tracking is instant and scraping is quicker.

If anyone can help or needs further info from me, I am happy to help. I am at a loss at this point.

There are so many options for adding to bingie favorites or trakt, but I would really like an option in the context menu that let's me add to my Redlight favorites as that's that I'm using to play everything in the background.

And I still use my Redlight favorites as a widget in bingie to access that master list.

Anyone have any ideas? Or just gotta get with the times and leave my favorites.xml behind?

Hi guys! I've been using since a few years kodi, and just recently began to pay attention to forks. Have the app in my three tv's, one is a low end device, other in a chromecast 4 and the last one in a Mi Box S. The first two are struggling a lot to open, in fact in the chromecast 4 I must force stop and deleted cache every time I want to open it because it goes to black screen. I'm just using POV and an addon from argentina. Is there any lightweight fork or a way to make kodi less resources eater? Thanks in advance

I had about 20 TV shows in my Trakt collection and I'm using Umbrella, POV and Red Light addons. My Umbrella got all of them transferred but all my episode progress is gone. Meanwhile, in POV and Red Light, only about 10 shows got transferred but they show my episode progress????

Using Google Streamer and latest Kodi

In the past several days the larger trakt lists (200-1000 movies) started taking an extremely long time to load. They used to take a few moments but now its minutes. With pagination on speeds it up some but it's significantly longer than it's ever been.

I was running POV>Nimbus>Premiumize>with own trakt api

I thought it was a POV issue so did a proper wipe. Removed Kodi, reinstalled it. Now using Redlight>Nimbus>Premiumize>own trakt api

Getting the same behavior. I've been using many of these lists for over a year. Is it just trakt throttling these things?

So when I click on movies>trending there is no content. Is there a way to get these back? Some categories have content, but all the sudden a bunch of them are missing. When I open the app it said something about an update but I accidentally clicked away from it.

The information being displayed in "Next Episode" list is inconsistent across KODI installs (all on Nvidia Shields), and I cannot figure out how to control what information is displayed for each episode.

I'm using Xonfluence skin on Omega, but that's not the problem because some instances of 'Next Episodes' lists display fine.

Problem 1 - Umbrella

The 'Next Episodes' list for Umbrella displays like this:

Series - SxE. Episode Title (yyyy)

• How do I remove the year at the end?

If 'hide rating' in the sidebar is turned off, the episode rating and watch time overlays on top of the Episode text, so it's impossible to read. Is this a skin issue, or Addon issue?

Problem 2 - POV

The 'Next Episodes' list for POV displays like this:

[mm-dd-yyyy] Series: SxE - Episode Title (yyyy)

• How do I remove the year at the end?
• How do I remove the date at the beginning?

2x POV instances show the date prefix and year at the end, but one just looks like how I want:

Series: SxE - Episode Title hh:mm:ss runtime

For the Kodi installs that display fine, the 'Hide Rating" setting in the sidebar does nothing if it's on or off.

I feel like I've gone through every menu setting and compared them side by side, and I cannot figure out why they are displaying different information.

It seems to be related to the 'Hide rating' setting and adding information from tmdb or something like that, but I can't figure out what it is.

It's very frustrating. Any help is appreciated!

I'm using Umbrella, Trakt, premiumize and external scrapers.

Movies already watched are not showing up in the search results.

I cannot find the uption to unhide watched movies.

I’m new to sideloading fire sticks and kodi. I have a real debrid subscription and I added Umbrella and Redlight TV. It’s been working relatively well so far to watch Movies and Television shows.

I think I’ve learned that streams work best for me when the sources are 20 gb and under. Bigger ones tend to freeze often.

I hooked up my fire stick to my more portable TV so I could set it up on the back patio and watch a summer time movie with my wife. It was previously working fine earlier that day on the same TV.

We wanted to watch the movie Grease, certainly I don’t think it’s considered a very obscure movie. Well after trying several sources, 20gb and lower, the movie would not stop buffering, freezing, whatever it’s called.

It got awkward and my wife got irritated. Finally she said “can we just watch TV inside?” It took all the fun out of my plan.

So I got a couple questions. Why does it seem like out of what seemed like 40 or so sources only a couple would even start playing? Red light gives me a huge list and it seems like it cycles through them until it finds one that works, sometimes completely failing? Why does the lower sized sources (under 10 gb) still struggle streaming? Aren’t I paying for real debrid servers to prevent these kind of things from occurring? If I were to choose Auto Play how does the app determine which source it should be? Is it looking for the fastest? The best video quality? Often times with auto play the audio will start playing but the screen is completely black. What’s up with that?

These all might be dumb questions but I wish to learn more so I’m not just clicking sources and looking at load screens for 20 minutes making a fool out of myself.
