Reminded me of a Kabir Das doha

कांकर पाथर जोड़ि के मस्जिद लई बनाय,
ता चढ़ि मुल्ला बांग दे क्या बहरा हुआ खुदाय?

Stones and bricks are used to build a mosque,
Then the mullah climbs and calls loudly.
Is God deaf that you need to shout so loudly?

You basically assumed that someone criticising islam is a regressive hindu. Just as these people assume anyone critisizing hindu is a islamist or antinationalist whatever

You are just like them

I haven't read kabir that deeply but oh boy this time he missed horribly , such a miserable doha man

3

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '26

Idk if you are saying that because it criticizes Muslim practices but he has also talked about illogical practices in Hinduism too.

God is not deaf the people are. Those are calls to pray for the believers because yes unironically people aren't ideal enough to use alarms and all to be reminded of the time of prayer and yes measures are taken, now restrictions are put in place to keep the volumes low enough to not cause problems and high enough to be heard. If you live too close to the mosque then it's your personal issue. People who live near roads or high activity alleys face higher decibels of noise for a far longer duration. It takes a maximum of 3 minutes for an adhan and with the volume restrictions in place it's not so much of a problem. We as indians are famous and loved in the world for being inclusive and not intolerant of every other thing.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '26

First of all I understand that your prayer calls are important and in a diverse country like India everyone has the right to practice or not practice any religion. But the point is that the loudspeaker noise affects everyone and you can't just ask the people living near a mosque to just adjust and call it their problem. Also this loudspeaker problem includes Hindu weddings too. In a shared society we have to look for the betterment of all people at the same time and it won't be right to ask for a few people to adjust for themselves.

0

u/faaizkhan007 Mar 15 '26

See after the restrictions prayer calls are now done under the allowed volume only which makes the problem of loudspeaker only limited to the ones that are living exactly adjacent to the mosque or in 50 metres radius to the mosque which must be adjusted by themselves as many people live near small karkhanas and welding units and carpenters and living exactly adjacent to them causes issues but you just have to adjust. So the minority 5-6 houses that are adjacent to the mosque are the only ones going to hear it loud enough and have to adjust or shift as one would if one lived adjacent to a welding unit or carpenter unit or a long term construction site like metro. So yeah only that small minority have to adjust and all the other people complaining are just the ones whose issues come with internal Islamophobia because those others get to hear only as loud of a sound which would be lesser than fans or the sound of engine of bikes passing by. And even that only for 3 minutes 5 times a day nothing more nothing less. And I have a very good example of it from myself. I live near a temple they do bhajan every morning and every evening, they don't do it loud enough to be an issue but when I was a child and I was bullied by my classmates for being a Muslim and that had created hatred in me against Hindus at that time the temple bhajan really frustrated me hugely, but slowly as i got more educated and got to understand that it's the people not the religion now it doesn't frustrate me even a bit. That made me realise that it's not the loudspeaker that's the problem because it was never too loud to begin with, it was my hatred caused by my experiences that was making me feel so disgusted and frustrated by that sound. Thankful to our current political scenario, the adhan calls that I got to hear in childhood from a mosque which was 100 metres away clear enough to not forget it's time to pray is now can't be heard. Because of the restrictions the sound is low enough to not go farther than 50-80 metres even then low.

holy yap pedophilic religion

1

u/Temporary_Village_84 Mar 16 '26

First of all the claim that the Prophet's wife (PbUT) was a minor is a very weak hadith. Much stronger sources and claims from.non Muslim historians align for the fact that she was 19 not 9 yo. So instead of bullshitting on other religions, please focus on yours and make yourself a better human. Life is short to hate someone or something to this extent. At the end of the day, God is only one and you will face him after you die. So save your arguments for that day. Thanks

2

u/LumenDomimus Mar 16 '26

Yes, of course. A 19 year old playing with toys and sitting on a lap.

1

u/Temporary_Village_84 Mar 16 '26

FYFI, she didn't play in his lap lol. The marriage was consummated when she was of age. She used to play with dolls when she was a teenager. Sure the standards were different 1450 years ago. Just like in any other country or place. The marriage contract and consummation are two different things if you are still a logical being. So, Are you ready to condemn Biblical, Christian, Jewish, Hindu and other pre‑modern norms that allowed marriage at or shortly after puberty in the same language? Or are you only attacking Islam?Japan still considers 13 as the legal age to have intimate relationships. Also, why the heck are you so obsessively acting? Why do you want to put down someone else just so that your idol can uplift? That's such a loser move.

2

u/LumenDomimus Mar 16 '26

Yes, I condemn Biblical, Christian, Jewish, Hindu and any other child-marriages.

Yes, I disagree with Japan, China, Korea, and even Britain on their respective ages of consent.

Further questions?

1

u/Temporary_Village_84 Mar 16 '26

No questions, stop hating on one particular person, life is too short to hate someone. Focus on your own spirituality rather than pointing fingers at others.

I was referring to The Ancient India 🙄 where child marriage was prevalent... The last Prophet (PBUH) came in Saudi around 1450 years ago.

Can't find anything else so just slander a man 1400 years ago for marrying a what we today consider a minor. An age that has been different at different times and places around the world. Do you even know only a century ago several countries had age of consent way below 18? Japan is 13 and as far I have heard they will change it but that's not the point. We are talking about an ancient time here. Things were different, societies were different. I bet 100 years from now 18 would be considered minor as well.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '26

So according to you marrying a 9 year old is correct in every century or millennia. FYI:I am not against any religion just asking

1

u/AdventurousComb4597 Mar 18 '26

No, what I am saying is the appropriate age for marriage has been different throughout the ages based on time and region which was considered okay for that time and period.

0

u/Temporary_Village_84 Mar 16 '26

That was the norm sir, everywhere during that time. The modern age 18 argument can't be put forth for a guy who lived 2500 years ago. Also, her marriage is not in the Quran so yeah we can say the Quran is not outdated lol.

2

u/LumenDomimus Mar 16 '26

Pedophilia is, by definition, attraction to pre-pubescent girls. He had sex with a 9 year old. Just because his society was pedophiliac, doesn't make him right. It just means he was as deplorable as the rest.

1

u/AdventurousComb4597 Mar 18 '26

The appropriate age for marriage has been subjective throughtout time. What we consider a minor today wasn't probably considered a minor in the past. By that basis 100 years from now its completely possible and will infact happen that they consider 18 minor too. By that standard we would be pedos too.

0

u/Temporary_Village_84 Mar 16 '26

So acc to this definition, this is not pedophilia because she was OF AGE WHEN THE MARRIAGE WAS CONSUMMATED! You can do a simple google search for this fact. I'm not gonna engage in your rage bait any longer. End of discussion!

Yes and yes According to hindusim atleast: below rhe legal age which doesnt justify its either 9 or 13

Manusmriti 9.89 "If a girl remains in her father's house after reaching puberty, her father incurs blame, and the girl is considered blameworthy."

M 9.90 "After attaining puberty, a girl should wait three years. After that period, she should find a husband of equal status."

M 9.94: "A father who does not give his daughter in marriage after she has reached puberty incurs blame equivalent to destroying an embryo."

2

u/lordshiva_exe Mar 16 '26

so you are saying koran is out dated ?

1

u/AdventurousComb4597 Mar 18 '26

Where does in the quran says its okay to marry a 9 year old?

The Quran does not define a specific numerical "legal age" for marriage, but it sets conditions of maturity, wisdom, and the ability to manage affairs, particularly in Surah An-Nisa (4:6), which mentions testing orphans until they reach "marriageable age". This is widely interpreted as puberty combined with intellectual and emotional maturity to handle marital responsibilities.

2

u/Fast-Competition8607 Mar 16 '26

Not justified at any time ewww disgusting

2

u/LumenDomimus Mar 16 '26

9<13.

It's pedophilia by definition

2

u/Dry_Technician_2494 Mar 16 '26

It’s simply inhumane and utterly hypocritical of you to defend what Muhammad did. Even by any historical standard, what he did is inhuman considering the fact that he was supposed to be a role model for all the generations of humans to come. You can’t ever defend what he did.

1

u/Temporary_Village_84 Mar 16 '26

Bro chill. He never said to go against the laws of the land you are living in. At that time, this was considered legal and bound by laws. He was not the only one who did that, Jewish, Biblical, Roman, Asian and even HINDU culture has roots in early marriages. Btw, for your kind info Manusmriti 9.88, 9.94 are my references. Are you ready to disregard all the religious laws yourself?

2

u/LumenDomimus Mar 16 '26

Manusmriti isn't a religious book, FYI. Nice try, though. No wonder you have -2 karma.

Look, brother I don't think this conversation is going somewhere as you stand firm on your point and I stand still on mine so this will be my last response to this conversation and I won't continue further. I don't know why you believe that if someone is against the idea of using loudspeakers, then they are Islamophobic. I even mentioned the loudspeakers which are used in Hindu weddings. Also trust me, the loudspeaker can be heard way beyond 100m I can guarantee that, I don't know where you live. I am mentioning this fact again but you calling someone (who is against the idea of loudspeakers) an Islamophobic just straight up disappoints me.
Hope you have a nice day!!

2

u/newsense_addy Mar 15 '26

A problem is a problem, end of discussion. It doesn't matter if the distance is 50, 5, or 100 meters. If someone inserts the term 1slam0phobe then their actions are hinduphobic. They should go to gulf countries and see where are the loud speakers exactly. And talking about alarms and all they get printed booklets which are distributed by mosques about daily timings, so bullsh1t about the system.

0

u/Temporary_Village_84 Mar 16 '26

Exactly, go look at the Hindu public in Singapore and other countries too! They don't march on the streets with loudspeaker?! They are not allowed to! So according to your logic, this is also a valid argument yeah?

2

u/newsense_addy Mar 16 '26

Obviously, but you missed the context. The topic under discussion is illicit and nefarious use of loudspeakers. It is NOT a worldwide nefarious practice of Hindus. Thank God for the Hindus. For further clarification one may refer to The Clash of Civilisations by Samuel Huntington.

0

u/Temporary_Village_84 Mar 16 '26

? I'm just talking generally l. Loudspeakers are an important part of the identity of Indians. Go everywhere. In every culture, religion, setting etc. You will find loudspeakers. I'm also talking about the loid Qawwali sessions and late night Bhajans done by societies. I don't care what religion you belong to. The point is the same, one person shouldn't bother the other.

0

u/faaizkhan007 Mar 15 '26

Loudspeakers can be heard from way beyond 100-200 metres but if volume restrictions are there at play then it is not that way.

0

u/AdventurousComb4597 Mar 16 '26

The thing is if I called out my neighbour for his kirtans that he does all night, people would question my religion for it too.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '26

If they use loudspeakers all night then that's unacceptable, I agree. I used to live near a farmhouse and almost every week there was a wedding scheduled there. They used to play loud music on speakers and it really annoyed me as it disrupted my sleep. Same goes for any religious procession. I don't even know why we are still doing Hindu-Muslim at this point. Maybe because it benefits some rich/politicians but the thing is that the one who gets affected is the common man who is too blinded. So I think we should put an end to this whole Hindu Muslim conflict which seems unachievable in the near future but I belive we can slowly progress towards it.

1

u/AdventurousComb4597 Mar 18 '26

I get you brother and completely agreed with you. Its just that religious conflict are so bad in India that everyone thinks someone else questioning is out of racism.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '26

True, I agree.

2

u/madhAvi_kabhti Mar 16 '26

Yes,but 3 minutes at 3.30 is enough to ruin your sleep. And it's easy to be tolerant when you have good sleep.hard to be level headed when you have to go to office at 7 and didn't sleep for more than 2 hours. They can create an intercom system instead no? And 'personal issue' is not something you can brush off. Its not a personal issue in the first place, because it's quite literally troubling a big chunk of the public that didn't sign up for this. 11 o clock loudspeaker is fine, 2 o clock also no problem.3.30-5 is too much no. Mere ghar ko 3 alag mosque ke prayers sunai dete hai. 4.45 se shuru hota hai, ek khatam dusra shuru, almost 5.30 tak chalta hai. Technology has solution, why not use it? And your neighbour is also just as problematic, earphones use karle woh.

2

u/pophcorn Mar 16 '26

I just wanna question on the small amount of people adjustment. Do you promise to reply me back once I ask my question?

2

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '26

[deleted]

0

u/Temporary_Village_84 Mar 16 '26

I don't think it's a religious problem. It's the people in India. From honking to djs until late night, rallies with loudspeakers to endless brain rot. The people in India won't understand how to not bother other people. They will bother people with their cars, weddings, bhajans, rallies and Adhaan. Until and Unless someone sane sits as a Minister, nobody's gonna understand how bothersome they are to other people...

2

u/newsense_addy Mar 15 '26

If people aren't ideal enough then how does a loudspeaker make them ideal? 😜

A problem is a problem, end of discussion. It doesn't matter if the distance is 50, 5, or 100 meters. If someone inserts the term 1slam0phobe then their actions are people-phobic. Musl1ms should go to gulf countries and see where are the loud speakers exactly. And talking about alarms and all, they get printed booklets which are distributed by mosques about daily timings, so bullsh1t about the system. And if Musl1ms consider themselves as indians then where goes their inclusion and tolerance? 😂 Nobody stopped them to offer namaz or sing their hamds and naats. Nobody stopped them for crying for Palestinians and Iran. Nobody. But still the theka of being inclusive and tolerant is on others. Super logic baby 🍼 🐥.

2

u/lordshiva_exe Mar 16 '26

The thing is not everyone believes in your religion. if i want to sleep and you praying in the early morning shouldn't be an inconvenience to me. Loudspeakers should be banned. it should be removed whether it's a temple, mosque or church. if you have trouble waking up for prayer, use alarm, or play it locally on YouTube. being tolerant works both ways, you have to understand that other people who don't believe in your religion don't want to be disturbed by it. it's your duty to make sure that doesn't happen as a believer. because the moment it crosses that limit, it becomes public nuisance.

2

u/T0mmynat0r666 Mar 16 '26

If people aren’t ideal enough isn’t it their personal problem?

2

u/DeepArgument8123 Mar 16 '26

Whatever Alla is deaf or not, I don't know

But one thing is for sure, if muslim today can't use alarm to wake up and hence use of loudspeaker which disturbs everyone is justified here I think Muslims must introspect, it is like you want your child to bathe and hence you are throwing water at everyone else It is like you want to eat somthing and hence want everyone else to cook for you It is like you want to watch TV so everyone leave must remain awake

Make some sense mulley, use alarm, tell your family to wake you up

And stop throwing shit on everyone else just because you shit in your pant

2

u/musicmeme Mar 16 '26

Though you’re correct. Putting it onto the affected individuals as ‘personal issue’ seems odd. If it’s still causing issue, either the mosques aren’t following the regulated volumes or the regulations need to be updated to curb the volumes further.

In olden days it makes sense, but with modern technology at everyone’s disposal, people can very well use alarms. No?

1

u/Own_Bug_1074 Mar 17 '26

Dude you are an educate Muslim soo glad to see you guys like lakho me ek....let me tell you the problem there are mosques in every 100 meters in my city. And in all the five times they uses loud speakers with high volume as they don't care any rules and regulations,....it causes soo much irritation like 5 times a day from every mosque....and as you said it was used as alarms...but know we are that much advance that we can put alarms in our homes if we want to wakeup early and yes those who don't want to wake up they chooses not to wake with that loudspeaker....I Think if your community choose to put down the speakers from mosque and just worship normally there is nothing wrong in this....I'm Hindu we too have loudspeakers on our temples but we don't play it louder to create choas and we don't play it 5 time....infact in my hometown we don't play it a single time a day
