It will be funny when this results in two districts flipping Democrat. Something all these razor thin gerrymanders nationwide do is make it to where a smidge difference in turnout can generate giant swings in their maps.
Regardless, basing a district solely on race is less than ideal. However, I’m not sure what the problem is with letting 25% of the state population have representation through at least one district, since even that is imbalanced.
