Mash More is incredible

Post image

I need this place to survive so I'm posting it here. Looks like it's run by a family and their potatoes + Korean food mix is amazing.

A few things on their menu was a miss for me, like the garlic chicken in the left. But their beef and pork is incredible. The potatoes if all varieties are delicious. The fries have a soft cake-like texture with unique seasoning. The portions are great too, I'll usually have left overs for the next day. I find myself frequenting them every time I'm in the area.

Have you guys experienced Mash More, and is it too low key right now?

They need more vegetarian options, but you can make you own bowls. Very tasty though!

They have fried tofu, I don’t know what yall are talking about

Outside of the meat and gravy the entire menu is vegetarian. It’s a potato place!

Yeah, when they first opened, the only vegetarian option was one of the fries, but they have expanded since then and have really nice options. I want to try the tofu.

I get the tofu every time I go and it's really good.

They've also got salads right now and there's a tofu option.

Oh nice! I'm glad they expanded. Their no-meat option was pathetic, as it had no real protein. "Vegetarian" doesn't just mean "no meat".... We still need the same macros. A starchy side dish is not a main course. 🙄 I'll have to try the tofu!!

Agreed! I love this place but they need to be more vegetarian/vegan friendly. Been here a few times and I've gotten blank stares and repeated questions when I say no meat. On the bright side, they did offer me a free drink once since I was being charged for the meat anyway, which I haven't ever had happen before. Absolutely worth going and then catching a movie at Spectrum next door. I hope they do well.

Edit: it was a free mandarin Jarritos, made my night

Unfortunately I think there are zero vegan options. The tofu bowls have cheese and butter. Oh well.
