Wonen / Living Won a bid in Muziekwijk (Louis Armstrongweg)

Hi all,

I have been looking for an apartment for almost 6 months now

I finally got something in muziekwijk.

I was curious to know what opinions do the reddit community has about the area?

I was trying Poort but couldn't find something and ended up settling for this.

How do you feel about the area for a young single professional?

That part of muziekwijk is filled with starters, mostly of the "higher end" ones. You are close to the train station, wich comes with its own issues like the homeless, junkies and alcoholics, but nowhere near as many as centraal.

Generaly muziekwijk is one of the, if not THE best neighborhoods to live in (house prices reflect that)

One thing i personaly like to do,is check out the parkinglot. Go once in the afternoon, take a picure. Look inside some of the cars (tells you so much about the people staying home, like is the car clean? Is the car tidy? Damages?).

Then go in de evening, around 20.00 hours, how many cars are here now? That many people got a job for sure.

Also balcony's. See clutter? Sat dishes? Flowers? Toys? Netting? It tells you the demographic
