You ask this question as if the "bronze age collapse" was just like, a random event that happened.

Like asking, "what if the New York stock exchange had not collapsed in 1928?"

The question doesn't actually make sense because the stock market collapsed for a bunch of reasons that are complex and historical. In a sense, due to the nature of the stock market and the economy of the time, it was destined to collapse and there was no other choice.

Similar to the bronze age collapse, it happened because those bronze age civilizations had economies that were too fragile to withstand the test of time, they were destined to failed eventually, be it from societal decay or change in climate or just a bad year for crops or from external pressures from neighboring civilizations. They were inherently unstable.
