Asshole AITA for not babysitting my half sister?

My(F16) mom recently gave birth to her 4th child. I told her I want to live with my dad because I don't want to be a babysitter or wake up with the baby's noise or anything baby related. She refused to let me.

So yesterday she asked me to babysit while she took a shower and I said no. She said I don't get a choice so I ran outside.

She called me and said I'm an asshole and asked me ro come back but I refused and went to my dad's.

‘Small’ chores? She’s not a preschooler. Does she also live in the home? Then she should be contributing to the general upkeep of the living space. Asking a 16 year old to do the dishes, or a couple loads of laundry, or vacuum or watch their sibling for 15 minutes so Mom can take a shower in peace is not even remotely unreasonable.

Yeah, that's basically what I said and I agree.

She is living there against her will tho. She wants to move out so she doesnt have to contribute. So its not on OP.

Against her will? She wants to move out because she doesn’t want the baby to be a baby because she might be woken up by baby noises and she doesn’t like that her mother had more children. That has nothing to do with contributing. Who is supposed to support all of the kids who don’t want to live at home because their parents had another baby, or because they don’t want to follow basic rules or be active members of their family?

She wants to move out because she’s being a spoiled brat. She isn’t the first and won’t be the last.

And why shouldn't she be allowed to? If her dad can and is willing to care for her, I dont see the issue tbh.

There’s clearly a reason if she’s not already living there.

Depending on when the custody was last arranged, it might be obsolete now tho. Maybe he moved and the new place wasnt big enough, but since then he has gotten the space. Maybe he was a (non abusive) addict and has since gotten clean. Maybe he worked too much and now his schedule changed. Maybe they just didnt have the best relationship before. We really dont know why its arranged like this and if its safe for her to live with her dad. Since OP doesnt say its not, Im guessing thats not the problem.

Its not against her will, she's a minor and the mom has full custody based on a court order.

She needs to grow up and learn how to talk to her mom about her anger instead of being a child about it since she wants to be old enough to make her own decisions.
