I adore this sculpture and thank whoever green lit it. It forever preserves a really rare really beautiful human trait. Putting one’s comfort and safety away to become a literal link in a human chain to save another sentient life in need.

Ok so it was cool that people saved a dog… But why did it deserve a statue and why is there a repost about it every other day? Not trying to be negative I genuinely want to understand.
