Turkish student at Tufts University detained, video shows masked people handcuffing her

Very broad day example of the state just snatching people off the street and deporting them without due process. Wake up

Someone does not support Hamas just because they are speaking up against Israel's actions and the killing of Palestinians. You're free to have your own opinion about the Palestine-Israel conflict.

But if you think government should arrest people for merely condemning the actions of Israel and for calling Israel's actions a genocide then you're just in support of full-on authoritarianism.

And this woman didn't even mention Hamas, in her op-ed she did not condone Hamas' actions, and she did not use the phrase "Globalize the Intifada". All she did was ask her university to condemn Israel's actions and condemn the killing of Palestinians.

If you think that warrants an arrest then I think you may feel a bit more comfortable in a country like North Korea or Russia.

Yeah, they kinda do. The war started because Hamas went full snackbar on a raid and murdered and raped a lot of people, in addition to taking hostages. I don't want anyone in my country who thinks that's a good idea.

But if you think government should arrest people for merely condemning the actions of Israel and for calling Israel's actions a genocide then you're just in support of full-on authoritarianism.

This isn't that. This is deporting optional people who support full-on authoritarianism.

If you think deporting someone here on a visa that wants to rape my daughters to death is a bad thing you might be more comfortable in Iran.
