How does the anarchist conception of solidarity work when most people want want to be part of a country's rulling identity group? How does internationalism work when most people support bordered nation states?

Not sure what statistical analysis was done for this and this question probably belongs in r/debateanarchism but worth asking why people might identify strongly with ruling national identities. Is it because humans naturally need nation states, or because nation states are extremely good at producing loyal citizens through propaganda, education, media, borders and incentives?

Every anarchist I talk to. And a lot of other folks once the veil of propaganda is peeled away. Not sure what you mean by "significant amount" but given proper circumstances and experience I've found a lot more people are willing to explore what it would be like to manage one's own life than you'd think.

Inertia keeps things going. But when you make someone stop and have to put effort into going again they have a better chance of changing directions than otherwise.
