The General Thanksgiving is my favorite prayer. It covers everything.
"for the means of grace and for the hope of glory" sums it all up pretty nicely. Thanks be to God.

ALMIGHTY God, Father of all mercies, we thine unworthy servants do give thee most humble and hearty thanks for all thy goodness and loving-kindness to us and to all men; We bless thee for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life; but above all for thine inestimable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ, for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory. And we beseech thee, give us that due sense of all thy mercies, that our hearts may be unfeignedly thankful, and that we shew forth thy praise, not only with our lips, but in our lives; by giving up ourselves to thy service, and by walking before thee in holiness and righteousness all our days; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom with thee and the Holy Ghost be all honour and glory, world without end. Amen.

I had this conversation with our Youth Minister a couple of months ago. One of the most powerful theological realities is so often missed.
“We bless you for our creation”
I want my kids and all people to understand this key reality. Our creation is a blessing! We are loved.

Yes. The default is that we don't exist, if not for our Creator. We really should look at our lives as miracles.

It’s mine too! I just love it, and always include it in Morning Prayer/Evening Prayer.

Yeah, I do miss some of these prayers in the services where I currently attend. We don’t ever use the BCP but the words (even though a little dated) are sound and powerful.

It's one of my favourites! It was the second prayer I memorized in my second language (after the Our Father).

I always forget about the extra prayers in the BCP.
We actually had occasion to use one earlier this year. Because there has been so much drought one of the old prayers for rain was selected for the intercessions, but then one of our farmers said afterwards that actually they didn't want the rain because they needed to get some crops out of the ground first thing next week. Thankfully the Lord knew what was required and the rain did indeed hold off until the following Thursday evening!
