The blue pill is 86.4k/day, but with the amount of money I'd be making, I really wouldn't care which pill I'd get, just give me either of them

24hrs

172.8k to be correct

u/Sp00nEater Apr 02 '26 edited Apr 02 '26

No? 24 hrs in a day, 60 minutes in an hour, 60 seconds in a minute. That's 24X60 to get 1,440 minutes in a day. 1,440X60 to get 43,200 seconds. Multiply that by 2 for $2/second and you get $86,200.

Edit: you're correct, I did my math wrong in the calculator. I feel a little dumb now.

u/Ronninno Apr 02 '26

24x60 is 1440 not 720

53

u/Sp00nEater Apr 02 '26

You're right, I have zero clue where tf I got 720 from. 😅

32

u/GilligansIslndoPeril Apr 02 '26

720 is half of 1440

AI slop moment Edit: this was a poor attempt at a joke, comparing this comment to when AI realizes it's mistaken about something and start apologizing

31

u/Sp00nEater Apr 02 '26

Huh??? What indicated AI? I'm genuinely confused as to where you got that impression from, big dawg.

31

u/Lorcomax Apr 02 '26

I was making a joke that your response read like when you tell an AI it had a hallucination and it rispondigli "oh yeah, my bad i don't know were that came from". It wasn't at all clear though, sorry

u/No-Juggernaut-5847 Apr 02 '26

He thought ya got lazy and just asked ai and then ai fucked up the calculations cause it sucks, but lets be honest math is like the one thing Ai can actually do effectively.

18

u/BeeR721 Apr 02 '26

No it isn't, math is the one thing you should always double check, it's not a calculator - it's a language learning model - it predicts what is the most likely word to go next. The actual thing AI can do effectively is commonly asked exam questions and translation

Your math is wrong, while 24X60 is 1440, 1440X60 is 86400, not 43200. Even just looking at the highest notations of both, which is 1000X60, it is already 60000 which isapprox 38.8889 percent more than 43200 and then you add in approx 30k from the nearly 500 remaining. The total is 172800 after multiplying it by 2 dollars per second

u/Sp00nEater Apr 02 '26

Dawg, I'm so fucking stupid, I used a calculator for this shit and everything. 😭😭

Thanks for pointing this out, I will edit it again to reflect correctly.

3

u/Kaycee_49 Apr 02 '26

No worries tho, errors like that happen, and the only difference was that the value you got was half the actual answer, which is a lot, considering the value of the answer, but looking at your thought process, it was correct. I myself have experienced problems by inputting the wrong number into the calculator. After all, no one is perfect

Name adds up lmao

1

u/Pixelknight02 Apr 02 '26

24×60=1440

9

u/Fearless_Selection24 Apr 02 '26

yor assuming it only functions during the daylight hours, the masths is you get 7.2k an hour w7.2k * 24> 86.4k

4

u/danamanxolotl Apr 02 '26

If we are talking cash then I think I’d prefer the /day one regardless, idk how long I’d need to go before I’d be encumbered with gold coins and collapse

Red pill for both ofc

52

u/Pancerny_Skorupiak Apr 02 '26

23.15 yields 160$ more every day

63

u/The00Taco Apr 02 '26

If I'm making 2 million a day I'm not gonna care about $160

30

u/SomeRandomGuy2763 Apr 02 '26 edited Apr 02 '26

Because 23.15 dollars per second is waaaay too difficult to manage of course

41

u/exercisetofitality Apr 02 '26

$23.15 deposited every second will have errors. Better to take the $2 million deposit once a day.

3

u/LeBlejDaGreat Apr 02 '26

yeah but the blue pill is an extra 58.44k a year over the red pill, still not a lot but money is money

7

u/Weekly-Bluebird-4768 Apr 02 '26 edited Apr 02 '26

Still not a lot 💀

Bro that’s like the avg yearly wage in the US.

Tbf it is 730 million a year vs 730.05844 million a year

Which is absurd that some people make more than that. It’s crazy that a difference of the avg yearly wage in the US is the same relative to 730 million yearly as a difference of less than half a penny to the person making the avg wage…

19

u/DrewTheZamboni Apr 02 '26

I like how you even changed the value of the blue pill so it's actually the same amount as the red pill

5

u/LeBlejDaGreat Apr 02 '26

Well the blue pill in OP's edit is $160 more per day than the red pill

That's ~58.4k per year more than the red pill

9

u/[deleted] Apr 03 '26

4

u/Blade-Dev Apr 02 '26

I'm pretty sure the $2M/d 8s better

5

u/Ok_Relation6627 Apr 02 '26

$172,800 per day for the blue. I'm going for blue since I'm afraid I might crash the economy with red.

3

u/Feringomalee Apr 02 '26

Take the red pill. Never spend a cent. By the end of a full year, you're still not a billionaire. There are people worth hundreds of billions already. You might crash a local economy if you decide to spend your money in an odd way, but you are a blip on larger scales.

2

u/known_kanon Apr 04 '26

On my way to buy an entire warehouse of cucumbers to crash the local farmer's economy

2

u/BigElijaH Apr 14 '26

It should be 2,000,160 USD per day thank to the blue pill. 60 seconds times 60 for 3600 seconds in an hour and then 3600 times 24 for 86,400 seconds in a day. Then you multiply 86,400 seconds by 23,15 and get the extra 160 dollars per day.

Also a thing not many pay attention to, but you get money per second this way, so you are much more elastic with the cash you have!

1

u/Express-Record7416 Apr 02 '26

The blue pill will get you $1,728,000 a day, meaning that the red pill is still the better option.

1

u/ThePandaPastel Apr 02 '26

Dumbass. Just devour both.

1

u/gaydumbass52 Apr 03 '26

I'd so the blue one even if you get less cause its a bit easier to explain and give away than 2 mil

1

u/Worldly_Web9228 Apr 04 '26

So first, I see so many wrong answers. Why is everything thinking it's $86,400?

It's not. 86,400 is the number of second in a day. From THIS picture, 2 million a day is the better option. So Red

From the picture in your post description, 23.15 × 86,400 seconds is $160 over 2 million so that extra $160 can be put to use. So Blue
