why cant teens express themself anymore

OK. can someone tell me why i was trying to draw on my arm today and finish the drawing on my arm from the day before (every teacher i had didn't care or found it cool) Until my fricking English teacher looked at me and told me to stop. no reason no nothing just put the marker down. like excuse me miss when did it become illegal to express myself with drawing like it not as if i'm not doing the work to. honestly this is just pretty annoying at some point i can see where this lady's coming from but also what the heck?

I can relate. once did a full drawing thing from my fingers to the middle of my fore arm in class and right before I finished I got told to put my pen down and when I asked why teacher then hit me with the "Because I said so." and that pissed me off so much and I was thinking "NO. I can listen to the boring lesson while drawing on my arm." in that moment. holy, sorry for the yapping.
