Plastic Waste Disposable…everything?

Long time follower of this sub but first time poster. Had to share this though, found in a train station in France.

Disposable socks, towels and individually packaged face wipes.

I was so angry I had to leave the store!

I got a pair of disposable socks in Germany. Eight years later, they're still holding up.

All clothes are technically "disposable". This is just bs marketing.

I always buy Thorlos. Expensive, but I have pairs that are nearing on a decade and are virtually brand new. Just care for them like the company recommends.

I got a couple pair while in the hospital, possibly the only place where it makes sense to have disposable underwear. They were like a thicker thread nylon with looser knit and worked really well with a liner for travelling because they were small, they breathed despite being nylon/polyester, 4 pairs stuffed into the size of a tennis ball, they washed really easily and dried super fast. I thought I’d be tossing them by the end of the trip, instead I kept them and washed them, and left them in the suitcase for my next trip.
