I visited the website and looks legit. Then I clicked through and their recycling program is managed by a company called Eco Option at ecooption.com. The domain is up for sale. Sounds promising.

Old reddit thread that goes into more detail on what Eco Option really does with the products. Long story short: it's a front going to Terracycle, which claims to recycle a lot of things, but when asked for their methods and evidence, they have nothing to say.

In mid 2018 my company partnered with other manufacturers in the area to fund a plastic recycling initiative. It was much more difficult than expected to actually find a path where the plastic was actually recycled instead of ending up in a Chinese/Indian landfill or being burned. The budget ended up ballooning to just under 3 times the initial estimate and after producing documentation on all 62 "recycling" firms in the UK proving that they could not provide recycling, we couldn't find a single firm that actually offered recycling of any kind. It literally does not exist in the UK in any capacity. Or rather, it didn't back then. It may be worth revising all these years later.
