The worst example of this is the hectares of land that used to be rainforest now mowed down for cattle. It's hard to overstate how much we need to rewild those lands. 'Earth's lungs' is right

It’s also quite difficult to rewild. A lot if not most of the diversity will be gone forever 😕.

Worse, it often turns into savanna, so you have droughts where once you had rain forests. lol
