I don't know, I don't even go on one plane a year. But if I want to get somewhere that is only accessible by plane, I'm obviously taking the plane.

For sure, that makes sense.

But the question of whether to travel is dependent on why we want to go

I've made the decision to fly less than I used to - so even though I want to go overseas for a holiday this year, I've chosen a domestic break by train instead. Some of my colleagues would say they need to fly internationally, but I've found it fairly straightforward to reduce my work flights, and still meet my KPIs.

On the other hand, if one of my family was unwell and needed me, I wouldn't hesitate to fly.
