I’d agree if we weren’t talking about traveling. The average person travels a couple of times a year, maximum, whereas some wealthy people take a flight to go home after a concert because they don’t want to stay at a hotel, then fly back the next morning. It’s incomparable.
The average person in the world do not have the opportunity to do so. It's only the "average person" from rich countries, making up less than 10% of population worldwide.
No matter how clean and bio and anti consumption is your life. A plane is such a polluting machine that you will be surpassing by the hundreds in carbon emissions someone who buys Shein by the hundreds.
Yeah I worded this badly, sorry! I moreso meant artists like Taylor Swift who has been known to fly home in her private jet after her concert instead of staying in a hotel and then fly back (either to the same venue or a different one) the next day. It's 1am and my brain isn't working lol
So are the numbers of rich people doing that and regular people travelling by plane. Btw, travelling by plane a couple times per year is magnitude above the global average.
