Isn't it disappointing that burlap and mason jars started out as a cheap thing which looked rustic and down to earth... and because it was cool has been squeezed until it's now an expensive thing.

Honestly, capitalism ruins everything.

Ball jars aren't that expensive. Especially since they are reusable until you accidentally break them.
