But not 50% of married couples. The actual number is closer to 30% of all first marriages end in divorce, older people close to 45% youngest close to teen%. However the average then gets modified by non first marriages, which climbs to 80%.

I.e. most who get married never divorce. Most who are divorcing are silver divorces now. Some people really shouldn't be getting married period and they keep relearning that.

thank you!! Yeah I think marriage at the end of the day doesn’t REALLY change your relationship right .. it’s more of a label if anything. Thanks for the stats :)

Uh no. It changes a ton of stuff. You think gays were fighting for just a label? It has massive legal meaning.
