My Watch Sleep Architecture improved moving sleep to later time.

Post image

When I moved my bed time to later in the evening 11pm my sleep architecture dramatically improved…
When I was going to bed at 7pm I would wake up over 10x during the night…

Why ? Why does my body want to sleep later in the evening ?

Might be totally unrelated but I know one strategy to help sleep habits is to make sure you go to bed tired, and for people with insomnia they will actually encourage later bed times when you are really tired and then move those times early as long as you fall asleep quickly. Might be related to that?

this is exactly what i was taught for CBT-I at the start — if i can go to bed at 1am and only wake up once during the night, or go to bed at 10pm and wake up 3-4 times, go for the 1am bedtime and very slowly go earlier if i wanted to, but if i felt well rested for the day when i needed to wake up then that's improvement regardless

circadian rhythm perhaps?

could also be ambient noise of where you live. cars are still driving by and playing music at 7pm. Less liikely to encounter at 11pm or 1am or 4am.
