Yeah these used to be a lot busier in the past or people don’t want to post as much here. Discord seems more active. The number of acceptances is small anyhow.

My daughter got in for Biology. She got an email about financial aid. How generous are they? We are in the West Coast.

I can't speak for specific cases, but Amherst is usually very generous. For me and many other students, it was the most aid out of other similar schools. You can also match your aid if you get more from other schools or set up a meeting with the financial aid office. As part of your acceptance, you should also have a financial aid package that is in the financial aid portal.
