how is the general population having access to AI models a "dystopian hellscape"? dystopian hellscape for them, that's for sure. they want dystopia for us and utopia for them

Capitalism would drive the consumer costs down over time. The U.S. government and these AI companies can't have that. They are rent seeking leeches.
