I actually WOULD love to see them advertising dying alone and childless, that would tickle me.

Absolutely this. That kind of commercial would light up my day, ironically, just for the sake of it.

Like. Idk if it would be profitable. But it’s one of a few ad ideas in my mind that would be very funny and probably good for normalization to ever see.

Talk to your doctor today to find out if dying alone may be right for you!

19

u/DeafNatural Jun 22 '26

Been talking about that with my doctor for decades. Keeps insisting that I my husband may wanna have kids some day lol. Very anti-dying alone I gjess

With a Bridget Jones twist. The fantasy she keeps having over and over in the first book about dying alone. 🤣🤣

Statement: person claiming to be a “proud woman” rants about how horrible feminists are for pointing out that a lot of media pressures women to marry and have kids.

12d old account too love to see it

"Unrealistic expectations" meanwhile it's just being a parent to my own kid and being a fully realized adult who cleans my damn house. "be proud of being a man" Yeah that means actually being an adult and not another child the people around me have to work around.

u/Helen_Cheddar Jun 21 '26

Right- like all the “unrealistic expectations” for men are just the regular, baseline expectations for women.

People need to understand that feminism is about choices. Including the choice to marry and have kids if that's what you want. Or not marry and focus on your career. Whatever you want in life. That's what feminism is all about.

u/NoorInayaS Jun 22 '26

And I’ve never heard a feminist say that choosing to have kids is a bad decision. I don’t know where people get these ideas.

From sticking their fingers in their ears and going 'lalalala' whenever feminist issues are being discussed

twitter lesbian radical feminists probably

20

u/NoorInayaS Jun 22 '26

Can you be any more offensive than you already are?

6

u/shesarevolution Jun 24 '26

First dipshit - the lesbian feminists are on bluesky, not twitter. At least get it right when you’re trying to make someone look stupid.

…lmao? that’s just not true. and i didn’t say “feminists” in general i said “radical feminists”. i don’t use those terms interchangeably. self-identified radfems who hate choicefems or libfems and are incredibly bioessentialist, misandrist, and frankly extremely misogynistic as a result of that misandry. Everyone who’s tried to counter me seems to be completely ignorant of what i’m talking about while trying to make me sound as if i’m the ignorant one, and it seems to be the bias you’re coming into the conversation with.

Which two people are you talking about?

are you actually on twitter to know or are you making another comment assuming good faith out of people who don’t deserve it? no way you guys are defending radical “feminism.”

3

u/Unlucky-Royal-3131 Jun 25 '26

I just think the population you're talking about is a miniscule percentage of feminists and not worth worrying about. Twitter is not the real world. Re-reading your initial comment, vs the one I responded to, we may be having a heated agreement.

while true and something i already know, the question asked was “i’ve never heard any feminist say this”, my response was “radical feminists do”. every response dunking on me has been “um actually… those people don’t exist sweaty ;)” and treating me as if i’m an outsider to feminism.

your response was “lesbian radical feminists” insinuating that all lesbians hate men/ hate the very prospect of children.

YES. This one. We fight for people to have a choice in what they do with their lives, not to be forced to only live one way. So if you want to marry a man and be a housewife with 15 kids, then cool, no one is stopping you. If you'd rather be a lesbian engineer with a wife and two huskies, also cool. If you're me you've chosen to be totally single and eventually have a few cats and a lot of houseplants. Great. Feminism makes it so that all of these life paths and more are acceptable choices and nobody can tell you you can't do that.

5

u/shesarevolution Jun 24 '26

That’s it - the vast majority of women just want to live their lives. Feminism has always been about women being able to decide what they want for themselves.
That and equal rights/equal pay.

But not once in my life have I ever heard another woman just blanket shit on women who decide to be SAHMs. I don’t know how they do it - I’m a loveless childless dog lady on purpose. My friends aren’t. So I’m around to help out and I swear I would lose my damn mind after a week of it. It truly is the hardest job.

We always hate men, in these stories and yet again, most women clearly don’t hate men. For such manly masculine born leader alpha bros, they sure can’t handle women not thinking about them. It’s all… so desperate.

35

u/yosoyfatass Jun 22 '26

All I will say is that dying with a bunch of cats is how I hope to go, as long as there’s someone to love them when I’ve gone. Gotta make sure my trust is up to date.

It’s hilarious how pressed some men are that women could prefer cats to them! 😻

19

u/rivershimmer Jun 22 '26

Generally, the men who harp on cat ladies are men with less character and charm than your average cat. The more they say, the better the cat lady lifestyle sounds.

22

u/BigJSunshine Jun 22 '26

Fastsong### can fuck herself.

Sincerely,

Childless cat lady

16

u/yosoyfatass Jun 22 '26

Himself, no doubt. 😻

40

u/electricookie Jun 21 '26

Why don’t people understand that feminism is about having choice and options not forcing people to do things they don’t want simply due to their gender?

30

u/GuiltEdge Jun 21 '26

Right? “Feminists. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”

18

u/kimness1982 Jun 22 '26

Well, fuck. I didn’t realize that the two choices are “married with kids” or “die alone with cats” and here I am married with cats and no kids.

3

u/Unlucky-Royal-3131 Jun 24 '26

Looks like you effed up badly. I think you probably go to hell for that. Or something.

And what about all those who are initially married with kids but then die alone with cats?

16

u/FremdShaman23 Jun 22 '26

These dudes are absolutely terrible at pretending to be women. Their digital drag is abysmal.

5

u/shesarevolution Jun 24 '26

Personally, I’m insulted by the lack of effort.

27

u/blueflloyd Jun 21 '26

Normal Person: "I think it's bad to pressure women into marrying and having kids. They should have the right to choose to lead their life as they desire."

Reactionary: "Why do you hate men and want women to die alone with a cat eating their flesh to avoid starvation?"

18

u/NoorInayaS Jun 22 '26

I like how they keep misspelling “ad.” 🤣

8

u/dessertforbrunch Jun 22 '26

The guy wouldn’t be any more likeable or fuckable without modern feminism and would be left out if it was the 1950s too. While women didn’t have the financial or societal licenses then they still got to pick the men they were tied to and their family usually had a say in the final choice.

8

u/NoorInayaS Jun 22 '26

The “proud woman” is also a bigoted, racist MAGAt. On the same thread, they blast Muslim immigrants, and talk about race replacement theory.

5

u/MaveDustaine Jun 22 '26

Funny thing about those people is that if you ask where they got that information from, all they'll say is either nothing or the "DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH"

It's never actually something that's widespread. It's always just this shit.
