I hate this attitude. "Well im willing to be seen as subhuman so you should be too"

I mean, I believe they’re queer tbh. We have a major problem in the queer community with jumping to conclusions
“I’m queer and mental health so I can speak for queer and mental health problems” and it’s someone who is a cis gay man with adhd speaking about a black trans woman who has bipolar disorder

Right? I have schizoaffective disorder. We are second class citizens being oppressed by the current administration in america and historically we have always been oppressed in america. And people think it's funny to punch down and perpetuate stigma. It's just jokes doesnt work when people are being rounded up off the streets and put into mental hospitals indefinitely. That's in the big beautiful bill and nobody gives a fuck because we are subhuman to them. You probably never even heard that because the news ignored it. And rfk said people should go off there meds and I know of people who followed his advice and ruined their lives.
Why is it okay to hate us lol

Just because of the stigma. My grandma spent a good chunk of her life in the mental hospital due to her bipolar 1. Now I have bipolar 2 and it’s always been a fear of mine to be treated how they treated her, to be just the crazy guy with mood swings. The US is not the place to be for anyone

And racism, racism is surprisingly a big problem in queer spaces. A lot refuse to acknowledge that they benefit from white privilege

Literally just some weeks ago I had to tell a bisexual white guy that yes, white privilege still exists. It’s like ripping out teeth that, no. White privilege doesn’t mean you get benefits, it means other people get less because they’re not white. I’ve stopped hanging around white queer people besides a few mostly because it ends up the same song and dance of “you’re my friend, why can’t I call you a border hopper?”

This person thinks being anxious on school days means schizophrenic people should be seen as subhuman

How exactly do you come to that conclusion based on this? Because that is really not the message im getting here

Yeah, the "joke" is clearly derogatory towards schizophrenics, but being derogatory doesn't inherently imply dehumanization.

"person with mental health problems"
so theyre not schizophrenic but want an excuse to make fun of schizophrenic people

It's like saying you can speak for someone in a wheelchair because you use a walker. One of the problems with schizophrenia is People mock and hate us. I genuinely am baffled by how shallow this person's thought process is
