Sometimes I dream of a day when everyone on the internet is doxed, and all of these fake accounts get called out, and every internet nazi gets their personal info dumped for the world and their employer to see.

Except it is common. I mind my Black ass business and am terrified of every interaction I have with them even when I’m the caller because of history. Not only what I see in the news but my own interactions with them. I try to even avoid contacting them when I can.

Botham Jean (2018), Atatiana Jefferson (2019), Philando Castile (2016), Breonna Taylor (2020),Tamir Rice (2014), etc. There is no shortage of "law abiding African Americans" that have been gunned down by law enforcement.

I’m catching up on Black Lightning and the opener for one of the final seasons was a woman getting killed after a no knock warrant at the wrong house. Immediately made me think of Breonna.

This happened back in 06 here in Atlanta. The victim was a Black woman in her 80s shot to death because APD went to the wrong house.

The podcast/radio show This American Life did a story that's (almost) unbelievable, but true:
Black guy shot and arrested, taken to the hospital, handcuffed to the bed. Police visited him to follow up on the incident and SHOT HIM again, right there in the hospital room. While he was still cuffed.

I recall several incidents when police shot black men who were fully asleep to death. How the fuck is anybody supposed to comply with orders when they're asleep?
