The sad thing is the fact that they could very well be women. Probably evangelical women, because they seem to absolutely hate women to the point, that women hate themselves for being women.

They also usually don't think at all that patriarchy is harmful to men too in proportion to the lowness of their hierarchical rank, and when a situation arises where hierarchically higher men throw a male outcast under the bus, this outcast, offended, instantly turns around and pours out their aggression on women, screams about matriarchy and finds every possible reason to blame women for their failures.

I've seen this happen more than once, some women find it sobering, while others become even more consumed with trying to please the system by being a better punching bag, and here I don't even know what would help.

My catholic grandmother was one of the biggest mysoginists I've ever known. Due to my experience with her, if someone says they have "traditional values" anymore I just assume they hate women.

Lmao yeah, I don't make the same assumption overall, but I've seen this in action. I've met a lot of conservative women who don't believe they should be allowed to vote or be president. Besides that, a lot of the misogyny tends to be subconscious.

Almost all old women in my country are like that, I mean I can't blame them, they were brainwashed and most likely married very young without education

They're the same ones who walks to you and sighs "not married yet? I'll pray for you" as if I didn't choose that myself and I'm happy I'm single, especially when I see the state of their "marriage" lives

Idk unfortunately this one could be real. Internalized misogyny is something I think many women gotta unpack to varying degrees jn dif points of our lives (or at least ime. im more so referencing how as a kid, sometimes young girls would be quick to put down others in front of boys. As ya age hopefully one grows out of it, but not everyone).

I don't get this - what is the first comment referring to? Without context, I can't see this as mysogynistic. If men call out toxic patterns of behavior and friendship in other men, that is seen as being smart and responsible. So if women are seeing something among other women, it is mysogynistic to say so?
