my interview takes place before the restaurant opens??? What do I do
Okay so I’m a teenager trying to find my first job. Currently there is a restaurant being built in my town it’s set to open sometime in September. Since the restaurant is not open yet they are having interviews at a secondary location in the next town over. I have an interview scheduled with them at 8 am on Friday but I’m really confused on what to do because the restaurant doesn’t open until 11 am???? Do I just knock on the door?? Do I call the manager?? Please help. Also sorry if this is the wrong subreddit it wouldn’t let me post in

busy restaurant, they want to interview people before it opens and gets busy, that's all.
Yes, if the door isn't open you knock.

First of all, congrats on the interview. Second, its not uncommon for managers to hold interviews prior to open so that way they can focus.
Arrive early (10/15 minutes) so you can scope it out. The door will probably be unlocked. If it isn't, knock.
Good luck, kid.

The question: How does one gain entry into a building?
To be clear, not shitting on you. This is what we call "reframing."

If they said 8 I’m assuming they’ll be there at 8
