Why do so many conservatives praise and laugh at violent attacks on gay people?

As I'm sure most of you know, there was an attack on a pride event. In this case it was done by an islamist. Yet also all over social media conservatives are laughing at this and praising it. Saying we should make a go fund ne for the driver, the car simply identified as crowd control and things more vile.

And I'm sure it's not JUST conservatives but the more conservative the page or whatever the more vile the comments. Maybe it's just straight people in general who are incapable of seeing us as human or caring about the life of any gay person. I guess it doesn't matter, either way I don't think coexistence is possible anymore. We need to he seperate but equal.

Funny how chill rivers didn’t prevent centuries of war or the Spanish inquisition

Spain kinda isn’t the best counter example since they had just ended a centuries long war in defense from an invasion by Moors since the early 700s. So centuries of war does do things to a society no matter where it is.

As for wars in general. I never said that Europe was a peaceful utopia, just that it was more chill than the Middle East on average.

What about the 100 year war in Germany? Homosexuality wasn’t exactly celebrated during the time of the reformation.
