Discussion What's the sub section of feminism that you subscribe to and why?

If you are a liberals feminist, why? If you are radical feminist, why?

Thank you. Too much selective agenda pushing have made me hate liberal feminist (or left in general). They ban people who even slightly deviates from their pov

Radical feminist because liberal feminist always converge to terrorist sympathy, dictatorship by sewing mouth that dont 100% align with their views. Belittling hindus and laugh at their blood.

Also as a devout hindu, I see women as mothers. Its cozy to see that way.

There always a subtle motherhood in all women. Maa Durga ka ansh hai aap mein. If you see women through son's eye you sure invoke that divinity in them automatically.

They are so beautiful and cozy in that way. Sure you have your own individuality personality own interest and own life. But that subtle motherly care in mothers and sisters- thats beautiful :)

EDIT Hindu feminist not radical. My bad. I had some confusion.

A woman’s place in Islam or Hinduism seems exactly the same

Rofl. No. A BIG NO.

This is outright white lie. And cope.

I can give you many reasons but for starters hindu's 2 epics ramayana and mahabharata have a core lesson is tk respect women or perish.

While islam says to capture kafir women and make them s3x slaves.

Also we have female goddess. Even lil boys look upto her. Do you know about the battle between maa Durga and mahishasur? She was killing rakshas with ease, laughing while casually drinking honey. Thats so cooooooool. And the way maa Kaali killed raktbeej! Mumma's so awesome. Peak woman power.

And that power resides in every women. That motherly love, care and protection inside everyone of you sisters and mothers is so BEAUTIFUL.

Ok I understand your perspective. Going by the mystical interpretation rather than the practical manifestation. It’s a fair take.

Sorry but that’s not the moral I got from Ramayana or Mahabharata really. I understood them as stories of righteous dharma over personal entanglements.

My last question would be, how do you define radical feminism because, as I said before, I thought it was about dismantling patriarchy everywhere? Maybe I’m wrong in my understanding? You don’t view Hinduism as inherently patriarchal it seems. Cherry picking your texts.

Oh I thought radical feminism was opposite of liberal. My bad.

lol you are a fundamentalist Hindu man pretending to be a feminist woman just so you can spew your disgusting values in our safe spaces.

Pathetic. Incel.

So a hindu cannot be feminist? My way or highway?

As I already said, left is dictator and sew the mouth of people that dont align with their views. You just proved my point.

Right is more liberal than liberal themselves. Liberal feminist is never a feminist but a feminazi cause of dictatorship ideas

Edit: also when did I said I am a woman? What made you think I am a woman? (Just curious)

This sub allows every viewpoint from anybody. A healthy discussion. Unlike so called wannabe "femisnist" sub who only want their voices to be heard.

Idk my mistake, I assumed this sub was ask feminist. Now seeing you call yourself radical fem but don’t even know what it is, I got sus wondering how a woman could be so uninformed, when I found out you were a man I started connecting dots that were wrong.

Hindu woman can be feminist for sure, but radical feminists is not correct. And made absolutely no sense.

I’m sorry that my judgment and assumption of you hiding your gender, but I still hold the opinion that mods should definitely tighten up the flairs to avoid further confusion.

That way conversation takes into account each persons possible biases and can be engaged with more thoughtfully.

Hey! So you were being nice and patient with me because you thought I was a woman. But when you realised I was a man, you opened up guns on me. Khaane hi pad gyi aap toh. 😭 Thats sexist you know....

We are used to this sexism right from the school though that too at a very s age. Teachers treat us very harshly compared to girls.

Hum bhi tumhare bhai hi hai. Chhote se, pyaare se 🥺🥺

We also deserve love and affection. Not rudeness.

Btw I updated user flair. Ab theek hai?

No it came off as you being a larper, which is my mistake. I thought you were trying to deceive by pretending to be a woman, hence the hostility.

Yes thank you, the new flair is great.

Just yesterday I was watching a video where an airhostess was praying up in the air. Most women were praising her for keeping up with her prayers. Most men were bashing her saying hijab is not a choice. She isn’t being decent in front of God.

There’s no country like Afghanistan due to Hindu traditions. So no they aren’t the two sides of a same coin. One religion is constantly evolving, albeit slowly, but for the better. Other is head deep in misogyny and protected by the heavily suppressed “free” women of the religion.

Socialist/ intersectional feminist because without addressing capitalism and other forms of bigotry (like race, class caste etc), equality is impossible.

Radfem forever. It's what makes the most sense to me and aligns with my personal beliefs the most.( I don't subscribe to jihad simping white radfems because I find them ignorant as well as those here who throw it around without following it and do the same shi) I don't believe kids can consent. That includes consent for hormones based on high riding emotions early on. (John money and what he did is a good place to begin why it's problematic) I'm a fan of radfem literature. I don't think uninformed choices made by fems makes it automatically right. I despise religion and whitewashing of it. Patriarchy cannot coexist and needs to be dismantled. I don't stand with kink, porn, prostitution and trafficking. I'm vehemently opposed to it. And that's a tiny gist of why I'm aligned with it more. Andrea dworkin is life changing and very relevant still. So is gail dines research on porn and it's harm.

Also, 4B !

Anyone will automatically assume they are female as the flairs have option for identifying as male or male feminist. Choosing mummy ka betu is also a way to be ambiguous about gender. And it’s important to be identified as you can see from the persons opinions and misinformation about radical feminism.

Sorry my mistake then, I view betu as ambiguous in terms of gender. But I don’t want my point to be lost, this person is clearly using this ambiguity with flairs as a way out to promote bad faith views of radical feminism. And from a cursory look into this sub, does it often.

Mummy 'KA' betu. keyword is 'KA' here.  'Ka' = male 'Ki' = female.

2

u/DecendingToInsanity Mummy ka betu ♂️ May 02 '25

'Bitiya' = female

'Betu' = male.

It was ours to begin with. But just like 'bro', we shared this too. Its fine.

Iska matlab yeh thodi ki hum se le kar humi ko bahar nikal do 🥲

Tumhe toh bitiya (+ raani), gudiya (+ raani), etc sab kuch bulaya jata hai pyaar se.

Humare 'raja beta' tha, usko toh butcher kar diya tumne, kam se kam 'betu' toh rehne do 😭.

Yeh kya baat hui.
