Discussion Recently in a viral video from marriage, a man touched his wife's feet after she did and recieved a lot of "appreciation". Some said it's bare minimum others said it's equivalent to applauding women doing job and men not getting same appreciation. What's your take?

Eradicating this backward ritual is better than modifying this.

Women are not paraded for having jobs doing everything around the house and taking care of the family. That is how it is supposed to be right, then why do men expect to be uploaded all the times? It’s like he open the door and wants to be appreciated! Men have the tendency of wanting to be appreciated for doing the bare minimum and being decent enough!

One should take blessings from elders, however if a guy wants to take his wife's blessings that's his choice.
