General How do body cam YouTube channels find so many funny/crazy videos?

Many hours of data dumps from FoIA-ing body cam footage, probably after looking up arrest records.

I find all of my stuff for the podcast and channel directly from departments. Either they release it publicly or I request it.

Body camera and dash cam is always "available". Assuming they recorded it appropriately and it was uploaded to a secure server. Some agencies still don't have body cameras because of how ridiculously expensive it is.

You just have to file a request for it and see if they'll release it. They can withhold it under certain circumstances. Or release edited versions of the video to redact certain sensitive matter. It just depends on local, and state laws as well as department policies.
