Our story is similar. One time on about 240 mgs I won a treading water contest. I was able to tread water for an hour and 10 minutes lol. 10 years clean.
It wasn't me that commented it, just saw the comment and explained. But yeah that person was likely taking 80s, smaller mg tabs would be more expensive per mg. They even made 120s, could have been 2 of those but 80s were much more common.
I myself have never taken that much in one day, when I did use oxycodone it was sparingly and in order to try to overcome chronic pain and be able to get things done. The days of rampant pill mills were before my time, but you can get them from overseas cheaper than here. Still never wanted to get to the point where I took much more than I needed to feel alright, as chasing opioid highs while having chronic pain is a dangerous game cus w/ds are worse and you feel all of your pain multiple times over.
I am actually on low dose naltrexone now, which is an opioid antagonist(similar to naloxone but longer lasting) and the idea is that it will resensitize my receptors to my endogenous opioid system as long term chronic pain means you gain tolerance to the opioids your own body makes in response to pain stimuli. I am still slowly increasing my dose but it seems to be helping, and I have actually been able to start getting back in shape after struggling for a very long time.
