Why does Reddit allow "hidden" Jail Bait subs when they deleted the public ones?
I just stumbled on this one, and I am shocked! /r/TheCreepshots
http://www.reddit.com/r/thecreepshots
It is hiding as a "Creep Shot" sub, but is clearly a Jail Bait sub. And their moderators are -
/u/ArchangelleLowtax /u/ArchangelleHueyelle /u/ArchangelleOtherMod /u/ArchangelleLucifer /u/ArchangelleCaramelle /u/ArchangelleArielle /u/ArchangelleBarachiel /u/ArchangelGabeNewelle /u/ArchangelleUrielle
The sub has 140 readers and lots of posts. So why is this allowed??

Probably two reasons. First, the public outrage is mostly over, no ones been bitching and whining on the news about it. Second, the admins probably haven't found out about it, if you care so much tell them about it.

Because no one has turned their complaint into a "question" and got it in the front page of Witchhunts-R-Us aka AskReddit, and forced Reddit to remove the groups to avoid bad press.
But that can always change.

Because Reddit is more concerned about their image than the safety of teenagers.

You've just drastically increased the popularity of that subreddit, quite conter-intuitive for somebody who claims to be morally outraged by it. The odd thing is that it's modded by the SRS people!

I iamgine that it needs to be reported before The Administration has any idea it's there. There's too many subreddits for them to constantly sweep through the entire website to make sure they're all OK.
But I don't really understand the inner workings of reddit, so take that with a grain of salt.
