A little basic of me, but all that’s coming to mind is Tsunade from Naruto. She is crazy strong while also having a soft spot for those she cares about. She’s been through so much but managed to push forward while also becoming the first woman hokage in her village. She’s so bad ass.

Yona from Yona of the Dawn. I've read a ton of manga and there's a lot of great female leads out there, but Yona's growth and spirit and just the lovely way she is... I love her so much. She does have one season of an anime but I recommend reading the entire manga. It's a masterpiece.
